Gas Cutting Welding Nozzles & Torch

We stock heavy duty American, Korean, Japanese, British, Equal Pressure type and other types of cutting torches. In addition we have in stock cutting nozzles, oxyacetylene nozzles, oxy-fuel nozzles and various models, plasma cutting machines and supplies. Oxy-fuel cutting are processes that use fuel gases and oxygen to cut metals. The torch is a tool that the welder holds and manipulates to make the weld. The torch has a connection and valve for the fuel gas and a connection and valve for the oxygen, a handle for the welder to hold, and a mixing chamber where the fuel gas and oxygen mix, with a tip where the flame forms. A cutting torch head is used to cut materials. It is similar to a welding torch, but can be identified by the oxygen blast trigger or lever. Two basic types of torches are common: positive pressure type and low pressure or injector type. When selecting an oxy-fuel machine torch cutting nozzle, several factors need to be taken into account: 1) thickness of the steel to be cut, 2) type of cutting bore (cylindrical bore or high speed/divergent bore), 3) preheated gas to be used, 4) type of cutting to be done (shape cutting, bevel cutting, etc.), 5) characteristics of material to be cut (material composition, etc.). These seem to be the major parameters among others. Of all the factors in flame cutting, the nozzle, and the stream of cutting oxygen exiting from it, are by far the most important factors in the process. Neither the torch nor the pressure control devices associated with it have much to do with the actual cutting.
